The Electric and Gas Company Gets Some Color!

OK it was hard to get pics before the employees and the public got ahold of the new space but we're quite proud of our local electric & gas provider for letting their designers throw in all the color they want!  And I can't forget to mention, we're just as proud that they have submitted the space for LEED Gold!

The public restrooms incorporate Stone Source's Linear porcelain 12x12, 2x2 mosaics and base tile which has a 40% pre-consumer recycled content in the color dark grey, with Terra Green Ceramic's 4x4 wall tile and bullnose which has a 55% pre-consumer recycled content.

In the employee breakroom, we used apple green Modwalls Viridian glass tile made from 98% pre-consumer recycled glass.  Pretty fun place to take a break!

Dress It Up With Glass!

How do you smarten up existing cabinetry and granite countertops in order to give your space a new look for 2013? Why glass of course!  Random color patterns are interesting and will brighten up your space.  A custom kitchen island was designed with a maple block and concrete top to compliment the existing cabinetry and pull the space together. Nice work on painting and install Audra Frank!

NYC Apartment Upgrades

This tiny NYC apartment was in need of an upgrade and some organization. From the living room you can see into the powder bath which we dressed up with a wall of light and dark emperador and glass mosaics.  Add the modern Riga wall sconce by FontanaArte and you've got a beautiful focal wall.

New cabinetry was designed specifically for the master bedroom to hold their legal files, printer, CDs and cable box taking the place of three other pieces of furniture and opening up the space.  In their sons room a custom wall unit was designed to hold hanging clothes, sports equipment and his awards and memorabilia plus provide storage and drawer space. What an upgrade from the bunk bed with drawers and baskets for toys!

Mosaics Make a Splash!

This backsplash combines glass, natural stone and ceramic to make a distinguished backdrop for a new family kitchen.  The background is a custom stone mosaic made of Thassos Carrara and White Calacatta marble.  Mixed-up Mosaics stained glass mosaics are framed over the stove with a metallic coated stoneware border by Domaine Metals.
